If you live in or around Spivey's Corner, you already know the storage problem in this part of Sampson County: most of what's available locally is an outdoor metal building, a converted shed on someone's farm, or a drive 20+ minutes to Clinton or Dunn for anything climate-controlled. None of those options are great if you're storing furniture, equipment, or anything that doesn't appreciate North Carolina summers.
Win Win Storage in Newton Grove is the closest fully climate-controlled facility — about a 10-minute drive straight up NC-13. The building is a converted furniture warehouse, solid construction, and 100% of the 200 units are climate-controlled. Every unit, every size. Temperatures stay between 60 and 80°F year-round with humidity held at or below 50% by six industrial dehumidifiers.
Direct route, no interstate needed: take NC-13 North out of Spivey's Corner. Stay on it about 8 miles into Newton Grove. At the Newton Grove roundabout, take US-701 North. The facility is on US-701 just before I-40 — you'll see it on the right as you approach the Exit 343 overpass. Address is 15590 Hobbton Hwy.
Door-to-door from most of Spivey's Corner is 10 to 12 minutes. No traffic lights of any consequence between you and the unit.
This is farming country. The storage problems we see most often from folks in this area:
Farm and equipment overflow. Tools, parts, seasonal equipment, hand tools that rust in an open barn or metal shed. Climate control keeps steel from sweating through the humid months — that's the difference between a wrench you grab next year and one that's pitted.
Household transitions. Estate cleanouts, downsizing parents, kids moving back home, renovations. Furniture and boxed household goods are exactly what climate control protects. The Hollerin' Contest may be the most famous thing to come out of Spivey's Corner, but the more common story around here is multi-generation families moving belongings between properties — and needing somewhere safe to put them in the meantime.
Trailers, campers, work vehicles. We have a fenced, gated outdoor parking lot at the back of the property — open-air, but secured — for RVs, boats, campers, and work trailers. If you've got equipment you want off the home property but don't want to leave sitting in a field, that's an option a lot of Spivey's Corner residents don't realize is 10 minutes up the road.
Small business and contractor storage. A meaningful share of our tenants are local service companies, contractors, and small nonprofits. One regional service company runs four 10×20 units with us. If you run a business out of the Spivey's Corner / Salemburg / Clinton triangle and need secure, climate-stable space for tools, inventory, or files, this works as a central location.
Three things that separate this facility from anything else within a 20-minute drive of Spivey's Corner:
All 200 units are climate-controlled. Not a mix. You don't choose between paying for protection and getting the size you need.
Fifteen unit sizes, 5×5 through 10×30. Widest selection in Sampson or Johnston County. The in-between sizes — 5×10, 5×15, 7.5×10, 10×15 — matter when you're trying not to overpay for space you won't use.
A powered climate-controlled unit. Just over 400 square feet with electrical outlets inside. Useful if you need to trickle-charge equipment, run tools occasionally, or keep something powered. Nothing else in the local market offers this.
Be honest about the trade-off. If you need to grab tools or supplies every couple of days, store them in your shop. If you're storing things you'll touch monthly or less — seasonal equipment, furniture between moves, business inventory, household goods during a transition — climate-controlled storage 10 minutes away beats a leaky shed in your backyard every time.
Pricing varies by unit size and availability. Call (910) 460-6683 for a current quote — customer service is staffed by real people, weekdays 8 AM–7 PM and weekends 9 AM–6 PM. We can hold a unit while you drive over to see it. If you'd rather handle it online, the website lets you view available units, sign your lease, and move in the same day.
